Dining Companions Question

Last week we booked our first Princess cruise. It will be the Holiday Cruise for Sea Princess, December 2016 from Brisbane (Oz) to New Guinea.

We opted for the 7.45 dining time.

Last night our son and his partner decided they want to join us on this cruise, naturally we will want to dine together each night. How do you go about arranging this?

Call Princess or your TA and ask to have the reservations linked. Then double check the day you get on the ship to see if it was done.

As Shredie said, have your bookings linked, but when you board check that you are all on the same table for dinner. On your cruise card that you get at check in it will show the restaurant, table number and time. If you are not all on the same table, go to see the Maitre D' in the afternoon. In the Princess Patter that will be waiting for you in your cabin, it will show what time he will be available. He is usually in the restaurant on deck 5 and usually around 2.30. Front up, smile nicely and explain the situation. The Maitre D's are like magicians for what they can fix. :) Enjoy your cruise.

Everyone has had good advice, but there is an additional thing. Don't stop at linking your reservations. Ask to be setup to dine with the other couple and have them do the same. You will have to authorize that you accept to dine with the other couple and them the same.

We have done this many times and never failed to be assigned together at our requested 4-top.

After you link the reservations -- Your dining assignment (dining room, time and table) will be on your ship card. If you all have the same assignment there will be no need to see the Maitre D.
