Allure - change in Western stops for 2016/2017 (?)

I noticed tonight that the Western legs starting Oct. 2016 now say:

Ft. Lauderdale

Cozumel, Mexico

Puerto Costa Maya, Mexico

Nassau, Bahamas

 

I booked the other day on the Western leg and the confirmation still says:

Ft. Lauderdale

Cozumel

Labadee

Falmouth

 

Is this a mistake on the website or do you think they've really changed the ports?

Something similar happened to me but sailing on Dec freedom class. The itinerary includes Costa maya but they switched it to Gran Cayman. Idk why of the change [emoji52], I end up booking something else

You are exactly right. I wonder when they changed this. I personally like Costa Maya more than Falmouth so that's no big deal. Have never been to Labadee before so I was looking forward to that but will make the best of it and get a room at Comfort Suites Nassau and spend the day at Atlantis' water park.:)

Mine still shows the same. However, new bookings show a different story. I'm really hoping its a mistake in their online new bookings - I JUST switched from Eastern to Western b/c of the stops it had on it. Boo.

Sorry, I really don't know if there's a free beach wihin walking distance. We've always done a ship excursion.

Seems they removed Jamaica? Wonder if it has anything to do with them finding the Zika Virus on that island?

We are on a B2B - Nov 27 thru Dec 11, which now means we stop at Nassau twice! Will look to possibly cancel second week and rebook something else if this is the case. What is the likelihood that this change will not actually happen? No Labadee is also very disappointing (and it also does not allow us to use our drink package on there, either :(

Mexico has the virus too, so that's probably not the reason.

Whether or not this change will actually happen is sort of up in the air. Royal has website problems quite often. Maybe you could give customer service a call, but them giving you a solid answer is probably unlikely.

Kind of disappointed they changed the itinerary only because we will doing almost the same itinerary the following April on Freedom? Maybe we'll get lucky and they will change that itinerary too. I check for price drops almost every day and noticed it Friday afternoon. It would be nice if RCCL or my TA wuld make me aware of it

I'm wondering if it is just the October 30th sailing that is affected. That flyer makes it seem that way. The website issue could be the fact that it changed all of the western itineraries, when it was only supposed to be one sailing.

You may be onto something. On my TA's webpage it has the October sailing with this new itinerary but my sailing on Nov 27 still has the original ports listed.

 

ON RCI's website my itinerary is also changed to Coz, Costa Maya, and Nasau.

 

We will see what happens.

"Good Morning,

I did contact the cruise line regarding your question/information. At this time they have advised the ports have remained the same as originally booked. If they do end up changing the ports they will send TA a notification, which we will send to you. We then will go over any options if available based on what the cruise line can offer.
