OfTheSeasCruiser Posted February 13, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 13, 2016 (edited) I would assume that they are testing the new azipods. Maybe a USCG requirement. I just read about a lot of damage to one pod, replaced 4 clutches. Replaced the other pods clutches just to be safe. https://www.facebook.com/cruiselawnews/?fref=ts Royal Caribbean is hiding a lot! CaptDave Not sure what this has to do with Royal hiding anything, as this has been announced for a couple days Edited February 13, 2016 by OfTheSeasCruiser

cpufrost Posted February 13, 2016 #17 Share Posted February 13, 2016 Royal Caribbean is hiding a lot! CaptDave Yes I cannot see the pods so they are hidden. Everything looks nominal, got a clear board. Order to withdraw the rods to the top of the SRMs given. Oops, that's something else. ;)

Please tell us the things you've discovered that Royal Caribbean is hiding! We've all known for a couple days that they had to repair one of the pods. That wasn't hidden. But you must have uncovered something juicy . . . .

Replaced the other pods clutches just to be safe. https://www.facebook.com/cruiselawnews/?fref=ts Royal Caribbean is hiding a lot! CaptDave They didn't hide it very well. I think that cat got out of the bag on Wednesday when RCI reported the clutch damage to the CG and got the tug escort into port. And again in the CG inspection statements from Thurs and Fri. And again in the repair summary. (Maybe they need to employ a better hider.;)) Judy Edited February 13, 2016 by foxgoodrich
