Rare SandyR5 Posted March 20, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 20, 2016 Hi - We're Celebrity Elite Plus and RCCL Diamond. I've read the Crown & Anchor list of what the diamond benefits are and it doesn't mention anything about free or discounted laundry and same for internet. It seems that the nightly drinks are the only onboard benefit. Cruising on Anthem next week and thinking about packing. Would love to know for sure. Thanks

Rare SandyR5 Posted March 20, 2016 Author #3 Share Posted March 20, 2016 Thanks so much for such a great reply. We will pack enough for the 12 days, and we'll get 2 24 hour free internet times so that will work out fine. :):):)
DgBg100106 Posted December 14, 2017 #4 Share Posted December 14, 2017 Does anyone know if these are still valid? When I look online I don't see all of these anymore.
Ourusualbeach Posted December 14, 2017 #5 Share Posted December 14, 2017 Does anyone know if these are still valid? When I look online I don't see all of these anymore. Yes they are valid. The on board benefits that are loaded on your Seapass card have never appeared on line.

Mim Lloyd Posted December 15, 2017 #7 Share Posted December 15, 2017 Regarding the 20% internet discount, is it worth booking this when on-board or doing it via RCI's website well in advance?
Clarea Posted December 15, 2017 #8 Share Posted December 15, 2017 Regarding the 20% internet discount, is it worth booking this when on-board or doing it via RCI's website well in advance? The Diamond discount onboard is a flat $20, not 20%. If you want access every day, and you need streaming access, it's probably better to purchase pre-cruise. dogsambam Posted December 16, 2017 #9 Share Posted December 16, 2017 We usually will use our free day of internet and then take the internet package a day or two into cruise with the discount.
dogsambam Posted December 16, 2017 #10 Share Posted December 16, 2017 We usually have two cabins with a Diamond member in each. We will, use the two free days and then get the package on day 3 utilizing the discount. It always seems to be cheaper to do it this way.
robtulipe Posted December 16, 2017 #11 Share Posted December 16, 2017 (2356) 25% off Casino Tournament Entrance Fee (Excluding Poker Tournaments) Was not listed on the copy of the letter I received so I am assuming it was an omitted in error. This benefit was not in the D and D+ letters our friends and we got on the Vision repositioning cruise we returned from last month. I asked about this when we were getting our tokens for the free slot spins as this was an offer I used and was told this benefit was no longer being offered. :(

To confirm what is really on the Seapass card ask a bartender to print the benefits.

nelblu Posted December 16, 2017 #14 Share Posted December 16, 2017 If I recall, unless I missed it from Jim & Patti list, there was a 20 or 25% discount on specialty dining only on the 1st 2 nights. D+ get bogo on the 1st 2 night

DrDani226 Posted January 6, 2018 #18 Share Posted January 6, 2018 I wanted to clarify with someone re: the 24 hours of free Internet... 1. Does the 24 hours start when you activate it? Or, do you choose a day and it's 12am to 12am? 2. Is it 24 hours PER Diamond member? We are four in a cabin (myself, husband, and two kids) and are all Diamond, does that mean we get FOUR 24 hour periods? Or, is it just two, one per adult? Thanks! DrDani226 Posted January 6, 2018 #21 Share Posted January 6, 2018 Thanks, Bob! Still better than I thought...I was thinking one 24-hour period per cabin.
Ourusualbeach Posted January 6, 2018 #22 Share Posted January 6, 2018 It starts when you activate it. Sorry, not sure if the kids get it or not. Kids (under 18) don’t get these perks.
griffy116 Posted January 6, 2018 #23 Share Posted January 6, 2018 Diamond members under 18 get a different set of perks and the internet is not included. My Grandson was Diamond at about 15, but I don't remember much about his perks. They weren't very good. They included some discount in the arcade. I think that's the only one he used. He wanted the internet.
circuitrider Posted February 7, 2018 #24 Share Posted February 7, 2018 (edited) We recently went on a 5-night cruise with three of our kids. I tried getting the free 24hr internet access using their info and it worked up to the point of actually checking out. It couldn't charge the $0 to the account (possibly because I had their onboard accounts set to not allow charging). They also had free drinks on their cards from 4:30-8PM (only used for sodas). Biker19 Posted February 7, 2018 #25 Share Posted February 7, 2018 ^ kids under 18 don't have the same benefits as adults (including the free VOOM).
