Diamond lounge/drinks

Recommended Posts

I am on the Ovation in June and there will be no Diamond lounge as it will be closed to CAS members. Does anyone know what will be in place instead? Maybe it will be vouchers only?

That's unfortunate, did they give you any reason?

On the deck plan it says:

Diamond Club / Golden Room (changing based on sailings)

Diamond Club (UK / Global Odyssey and Australia sailings)

Diamond, Diamond Plus, and Pinnacle Club Crown & Anchor® Society members enjoy access to this lounge, created to serve these loyal guests with concierge access, complimentary continental breakfast, and evening drinks.

Golden Room (Asia sailings)

An elite, invitation only lounge reserved for our VIP Casino Royale guests.

Thank you for posting the menu. Is this the menu from the Diamond lounge? If we go to a bar, do we also have to order from this list?

Yes, if you use one of your vouchers at a bar, you are limited to the same drinks as they serve in the DL.

It used to be both, but since all the changes Happening on May 1st you can´t go to the Lounge anymore as a Diamond and you have to use the drink vouchers.

NOT TRUE! Please get your facts right.

Diamond members have access to the DL on all ships that currently have DL. If they change the name of the DL then there may be no DL but I think this is only one 1 ship at the moment.

You will see that champagne isn't on the list, but you can still get it! [emoji898][emoji122][emoji898][emoji122]

Yes the DL on ovation will be turned into the high rollers tables. I was told $50,000 a go.... You should see the number of cameras built into the ceiling in there!! [emoji328][emoji991][emoji329][emoji327][emoji990]

Can you clarify? I thought the DL becomes the Golden Lounge for the gamblers on Asian cruises only? When sailing elsewhere where gamblers are not so high rolling I believe it converts to the DL as per the info Sonic Ship posted from the deck plans?

Exactly, it WILL be turned into the Golden Lounge for Asian sailings, then back to a DL for Australian sailings.

So what will happen on May 26 when the Diamond Lounge is closed on the Ovation? Drink vouchers only? There will be no new suite program also on these sailings in Asia.

On some Australian sailings in the past few years, when there were really low numbers of D and D+, they closed the DL and combined everyone into the CL. Maybe they will let D and D+ into the SL while this is happening.
