Had a wonderful dinner in the Pinnacle Grill last night. Alaska is so awe inspiring. Nice to hear from you! And good to know you had a great dinner at the Pinnacle. Hope you have been enjoying the whole cruise and will continue to! If you go near the tender dock, you better wave!
qsuzi Posted June 6, 2016 #9 Share Posted June 6, 2016 Thanks SilvertoGold. Not sure if we are docking or tendering (hope tendering because so scenic). Will wave for sure if tendering. :)
Rare Scrapnana Posted June 6, 2016 #10 Share Posted June 6, 2016 I'll miss the sail-in but will be here for the sail-away. Thanks, Copper!
Rare Vict0riann Posted June 6, 2016 #11 Share Posted June 6, 2016 Hope to be here. There has been some activity in the bay (fish?) water moving around strangely, etc., I couldn't tell what it was. A small boat approached, and everything stopped. But I didn't see birds flying away or anything. Now it's calm, but I'm hoping whatever it was will appear in another spot. We're having glorious weather here - a real heatwave. Must have got up to 80 yesterday. Very unusual for Victoria this early in the summer. Rare rafinmd Posted June 6, 2016 #16 Share Posted June 6, 2016 I'm sure it's deceptive but that seaplane landing looked awfully close to the Nieuw Amsterdam. Roy

Rare Copper10-8 Posted June 7, 2016 Author #24 Share Posted June 7, 2016 The conversation we're listening to is between the officer on the forward mooring deck of NADM and the bridge giving a continued update on the anchor heaving process incl. the direction in which the anchor chain is leaning as its being brought up as well as the shackles on deck
