Norwegian themed deck BBQ?

Our Aug 14th Koningsdam cruise didn't have any deck parties (unless I somehow missed them). We only had 2 Norwegian ports along with 3 Iceland, 2 Scotland and 1 England port. Maybe because the weather was cooler in those ports???? If they have them in Alaska then I guess that is not the reason.

The Prinsendam tends to do things with a little more finesse.

Totally agree :)

Eurodam had 3 themed deck BBQs on our 22 day Baltic/Norway/British Isles cruise a few years ago. So it isn't just the Prinsendam. They were some of the best deck BBQs I have seen on HAL.

Absolutely other ships do it. Our Westerdam lunches and bbq's were very nice :)

But there was no comparison (if one were to compare) between that and what we had on the Prinsendam. Two totally different itineraries though ;)

We enjoyed them both but there was no question that when we were on the Prinsendam the BBQ's were done with finesse. :). All kinds of things - cooked to your order. Including yummy seafood :) all fresh and cooked to absolute perfection.
