Freedom, Independence, or Oasis?

I just can't decide. My options for are for 6 nights on the Freedom from Fort Lauderdale, a 4 night and 5 night B2B on Independence, or 7 nights on Oasis.

 

Due to family schedules, these are my only three options for a January trip. I prefer Oasis ships but Freedom is the cheapest and most convenient. I like the idea of 9 nights on Independence, but not the idea of two separate cruises.

 

Help!

I'd go for Indy if I could get the same stateroom on both cruises.

Our best cruise was on Indy in 2013. My daughter also loved Oasis OTS. I vote for Indy if same cost. B2B isn't as bad as it seems from reading on here, but only if the same room.

My vote is for Oasis. Go big, or go home!;):D:D

 

In all reality, we are Carnival people, but we did try out Oasis this year, and she was AMAZING!!!! I would HIGHLY recommend that ship to ANYONE.

We love the Freedom class ships the best on RCCL. I would do the Indy cruises if as Bob said you can get the same rooms. If not, the Freedom will be awesome. We're back sailing on her in a couple weeks on the same six night itinerary. I'm going to "attempt" to to blog live from Freedom as well if I can figure it all out.

What are the 4 and 5 day itineraries on indy? If its labadee and jamaica on one, then cozumel only on the other thats my vote. All the western stops, more days.

OK...I am in the minority...but I love the Freedom. :)

 

Plus Freedom can go to one of my favorite ports of call, Grand Cayman,

where Oasis cannot go.

9 days are always better than 7.

We are doing the 6 & 8 day on the Freedom for April 2018. Have the same cabin for both.

We did BTB cruises and had to change rooms. They just move all your stuff for you and you can back on and to your new room right away. I love the Freedom class also.

Are you sure you will like O-class?

We were quite disappointed with O-class and would stick with F-class which we like a lot more!

Given the narrow choices in Western Caribbean ports...having all the added things available onboard the Oasis class ships makes that choice a strong one.

You do know that Oasis leaves from Port Canaveral and Freedom out of Ft. Lauderdale.

Pick oasis if you haven't been there but if you had I recommend the freedom. I went to the independence and I didn't like it all, she is also in the freedom class ship as the freedom of the seas but for some reasons independence didn't meet my expectation. I still love Royal and my 2016 vacation will be on the freedom. Do a search and most of negative reviews are from the Independence versus the Freedom.
