Until they leave the dock they haven't cruised anywhere.

Was on Ch 7 news right after the Ovation story.

Maybe the generous compensation by P&O is to try and limit too much bad press.

Especially with the new Ovation being all good news stories so far.

Well, Pacific Eden is still at White Wharf. Hasn't gone anywhere. Will have to leave by tomorrow morning as the MS Noordam is due to dock there. Nervously waiting the outcome as I am due to sail on her in 3 days.

There won't any issues with other ships as they will just get tugboat to move the Eden to another dock.

Sydney ports are now showing that it is moving to Glebe Island 1 and 430 am and also departing from there at 6am.

I wasn't aware that the ship had all the issues but it seems like the issues continue.

 

 

The common response among the crew was "well, it is the Statendam" when things would occur. Last cruise I had on her, the atrium fountain was being repaired with duct tape. And the rear 1/3 of A deck flooded. The cruise after that one, they lost power. So sadly, nothing new.

Marine Traffic is show Pacific Eden is at sea, finally.

The Pacific Eden must have left earlier this morning as the Maasdam is being moored into spot. So the passengers had two wonderful nights at White Bay ... in the rain.

IMO, Ovation of the Seas is an ugly looking ship on the exterior, block of flats at sea. Looks nice inside but.
