NavyVeteran Posted April 5, 2017 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2017 Can anyone tell me if and where you can smoke on the Caribbean Princess, thank you. No one can tell you for sure unless they are on the ship now. I would not trust any information from anyone who was on the ship before the drydock. Since they have made substantial changes, they may or may not have changed the location of smoking areas.
skynight Posted April 5, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2017 I can tell you for sure that smoking is not permitted in any cabin or on any cabin balcony. Smoking is also not allowed in any lounges or other interior locations except for those mentioned below. If the Caribbean Princess follows the same pattern as other Princess ships then the smoking areas would be: A small area on the promenade deck outside of Club Fusion where the walkway narrows. May be either port or starboard, but not both. An area next to the Tradewinds Bar on deck 16 A section, probably port side of the Horizon Terrace. A section of Skywalker's in the late evening The Casino, some evenings are smoke free Churchill Lounge (The only place for pipe and cigar)

OCruisers Posted April 5, 2017 #5 Share Posted April 5, 2017 We were told on out CB cruise in January Churchill's would remain the Cigar bar after the renovations. Two advance men were in there checking the condition of the seating.

weedpindle Posted August 12, 2018 #7 Share Posted August 12, 2018 When you get on the ship, look at the Patter, it will say where smoking is permitted. Or do you need to know now?
OCruisers Posted August 12, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 12, 2018 No Problem smoking cigars in Churchills! (y) Still remains a FUN place to meet others who smoke. :D
funtocruiselm Posted August 12, 2018 #9 Share Posted August 12, 2018 We are new to Princess and some ships seem to have a smoking area midship on the Lido deck, so we thought we would get a cabin on the Lido, but maybe we should get an aft room. Does Churchills allow cigarettes? Thanks for any tips!

Does Churchills allow cigarettes? Thanks for any tips! No smoking mid ship on the Lido deck, deck 15. There is a smoking area port side on the the Sun deck, deck 16, next to the Tradewinds Bar where ash trays are on the tables. Yes, you can smoke cigarettes in Churchill's No Princess ship I know of, allows smoking mid ship by the Lido Pool.

flamomo Posted August 13, 2018 #12 Share Posted August 13, 2018 Sometimes cigar smokers complain that there is no room for them in Churchill's because of all the cigarette smokers in there. Seems like Churchills gets a lot of cigarette smokers on the evenings that smoking is banned in the casino. They usually pop on and out, rather then camping out for long periods of time. funtocruiselm Posted August 12, 2019 #13 Share Posted August 12, 2019 They really should create an indoor cigarette smoking room on every ship since there are more of us. When the weather is bad we also want to be comfortable and it keeps us out of the way. I got a cabin by Tradewinds, so hopefully it isn't too windy and cold all the time. funtocruiselm Posted August 12, 2019 #14 Share Posted August 12, 2019 Summary of smoking areas: Copy and paste this post to update as needed. It is helpful to know where to get a cabin if you are a smoker. I hope the cruise lines read these posts and understand that we are on vacation and want to be comfortable and we need indoor and outdoor smoking areas. There should always be an indoor cigarette smoking room with ventilation(window or machine) for when the weather is bad with seating for 20 and each ship should create a cigarette smoking room. We don't want to smoke in the cigar lounge or the casino because we want our own room! Outdoors: Deck 7 aft- a small area aft outside of Club Fusion on promenade deck 7 where the ash disposals units are attached to the bulkhead. Deck 15? aft-An area port side on the Horizon Terrace by the Outrigger Bar, but not at the bar. May not be allowed anymore, Deck 16 fwd An area to the port side of the Tradewinds Bar on Deck 16 above Neptune's Reef pool. Indoors: Deck 6 fwd - Churchill's Lounge, Deck 6 fwd. This is the cigar and pipe area. Deck 7 mid- Casino, some evenings are smoke free, some days may also be smoke free. Deck 18 aft - Skywalker's, there is usually a smoking section during late night DJ and dancing.
