Escape Room on Harmony of the Seas??

Recommended Posts

Is there an Escape Room on the Harmony of the Seas? I thought I read it here somewhere but now I can't find it and tried a search but couldn't find any information.

It's called Escape the Rubicon.

Yes

Located on deck 14 just before you go into Adventure Ocean. It's about $9 per person but it is lots of fun. You should be able to reserve ahead of time through the cruise planner.

Yes - if it's not available pre-boarding on your cruise planner, you can always reserve through the App once onboard. If it's fully booked you can just show up and if there are any cancelations they'll take you. I did it on the Harmony Transatlantic last fall from Barcelona to FLL when it was FREE. There's a charge now but well worth it - it was loads of fun! From the RC website:

"ESCAPE THE RUBICON There are some puzzles you solve and there are some puzzles you ESCAPE! In the new & exclusive Puzzle Break: Escape The Rubicon, you will be transported to another world and another time. Collaborate with friends, old and new, as you attempt to find the hidden clues needed to solve a collection of puzzles that will eventually unravel the mystery of the Rubicon! With only 60 minutes of life-support, the suspense builds with every tick of the clock. The final seconds will decide your fate. Question: will you escape?…and if not, what then?"

For those who have done this, do you remember how many they took at one time? And thanks for the info

Officially 12 but they took 14 for our group due to one session being cancelled when the Harmony, Oasis and Allure where lined up at the same time off of Port Everglades for a photo-op.

I also did this on the Harmony TransAtlantic when there was no cost. I think that there was only 8 or maybe 10 in our group. There was a couple that had reserved a spot, planning on dropping their child off at the kids place. Their son was not cooperating, and wouldn't leave them. He was probably 3 or 4. They asked if they could bring him into the Escape Room, and they were told no.

So, we did not have the full compliment of participants, but still had so much fun doing this. As others have posted - work together. Anything you find, make sure the entire group knows it. There is no thought that is crazy. Talk it out.

We needed about another 10 minutes to solve it. Oh well. Such a fun time.

Is it called Escape the Rubicon on Harmony? That is what it is called on Symphony, I thought I heard it had a different theme on every ship, but maybe I just think i heard that.

It's still called that, per the Cruise Planner:

Interesting, the "Rubicon" on Symphony is supposedly an early 20th century Submarine trying to torpedo an active volcano to stop an erruption, this doesn't match the image shown, but we know what Royal's cruise planner is like some times.

I won't say any more about the room, other than bring your glasses and if I went again, I would bring my cell phone and tell the guy running the thing I will only use it for a flashlight as I found the light level to be a little too low for me to get a couple of the clues.

I'm pretty sure the escape rooms on Harmony and Symphony are the same.  Oasis is supposed to have an all-new theme.

Maybe that is what I heard.   Terrible turning 60!
