voyager70 Posted July 6, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 6, 2017 Aft balconies on Radiance Class are great as well. They're highly coveted so you need to secure one early.

bouhunter Posted July 9, 2017 #9 Share Posted July 9, 2017 Don't pick 7588 [emoji50] It was worse than I was thought it would be. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk We switched to a B2B last winter and ended up in a cabin like that the second week. It bugged us for a couple hours and was OK after that. We were still cruising for another week:p

Clarea Posted October 23, 2017 #13 Share Posted October 23, 2017 Lol....Thanks Bob....what I was asking is my cabin balcony going to be obstructed or will it have a nice view down to the water? You may not have a view straight down to the water if you lean way out over the edge of the balcony and try to see the water hitting the hull of the ship. Clarea Posted October 23, 2017 #15 Share Posted October 23, 2017 How are the Aft balconies on Deck 7 please? Balcony is very deep, much larger than side-facing balconies.
Canadian Scarlett Posted October 25, 2017 #16 Share Posted October 25, 2017 I have a choice of several cabins... 7086 7602 7540 7620 I am currently booked into 7150 which I believe is on the port side. The listed cabins are on the opposite side. 7602 is on the "hump?" which is I believe the part the juts out. Which cabin would you choose?
tamtot Posted October 25, 2017 #17 Share Posted October 25, 2017 I would go for 7602! I love a hump cabin.
Canadian Scarlett Posted October 25, 2017 #18 Share Posted October 25, 2017 What is that you like about a hump cabin? Also is there any way to tell which side of the ship will generally pull into port on?
Clarea Posted October 25, 2017 #19 Share Posted October 25, 2017 What is that you like about a hump cabin? Also is there any way to tell which side of the ship will generally pull into port on? The side of the ship that faces the "best" view is unpredictable.
cb at sea Posted October 26, 2017 #20 Share Posted October 26, 2017 The lifeboats are below ALL of the side balcony cabins...doesn't matter which deck, you will see them. The "Hump" cabins jut out a bit so they are less in evidence...but they are visible. The "extended" balconies on deck 7 lack privacy...the balcony divider doesn't go all the way to the outside railing. You will have about 2 ft. of just railing separating you from your neighbor. The lifeboats do NOT "obstruct" your outward view at all. You simply won't be able to count the barnacles on the hull of the ship.

OntarioTraveller Posted November 30, 2017 #24 Share Posted November 30, 2017 Any exprerience with front balconies on Deck 10. We have 1516 (E2) below the spa. We thought it would be nice to one deck from the pool, food outlets... Any downsides? Thanks!
