nicknack Posted September 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 18, 2017 Taking a 10 day cruise on the Royal. How often do you, should you, ask for the sheets to be changed? I assume there's a sign I can put on the bed? If I don't ask, would they be changed at all?
JF - retired RRT Posted September 18, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 18, 2017 There is no sign to leave, you'd have to write a note or verbally request. On a 10 day, maybe sheets are changed once?? Not totally sure, what the frequency is...I know on longer cruises it's done, but never paid any attention to when.
beg3yrs Posted September 18, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 18, 2017 My experience is that they are changed roughly every three days. If you want it more often just ask your steward.

The last change is on turnaround day .
-Lew- Posted September 18, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 18, 2017 Our experience is every three days. You shouldn't have to ask, but do if they're not changed.
DrivesLikeMario Posted September 18, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 18, 2017 Yep, every three days is what I've seen too. Ask your steward if you need it more often that that.
Gimer Posted September 18, 2017 #7 Share Posted September 18, 2017 On our UST's on Grand, Star and Majestic, I asked about the sheets changing schedules and was told sheets are changed every three days, by the Laundry Dept. Managers.
paul929207 Posted September 18, 2017 #8 Share Posted September 18, 2017 We have never had to ask. The steward does it every 3 days
OCruisers Posted September 18, 2017 #9 Share Posted September 18, 2017 Every three days has been our experience unless they needed changing more often.
elfinmagic Posted September 18, 2017 #10 Share Posted September 18, 2017 Sheets are change every three days unless they get soiled sooner. How often do you need them changed?
klfhngr Posted September 18, 2017 #11 Share Posted September 18, 2017 True story.. This may on X, I slept on my chocolate mint. It was all over the sheets.. They were changed by the time i came back. I apologized to the cabin steward for my 'wife' doing that!:) He laughed and new that it was chocolate.. and that it was really me, lol!

Times Prince Posted September 18, 2017 #13 Share Posted September 18, 2017 Every 3 days. But if something is on the sheets, like the chocolate smear, and it is after the steward has serviced your room, then a note to the steward gets it done. Page the steward if it is an urgent need. No problem. I like to leave a note anyhow, as it alerts the steward to something that might not be on today's service schedule. That's just courteous in my book. If he can do it he will, if not you will need to talk to his supervisor, how can approve a request.

I assume there's a sign I can put on the bed? If I don't ask, would they be changed at all? This may sound dumb, but we have let our steward "off the hook" for changing our sheets every 3 days, especially in a cool climate cruise. After all, they only get changed once a week at home!;)
Lucky TGO Posted September 19, 2017 #16 Share Posted September 19, 2017 They change your sheets every 3 days on a 10 day cruise. Tony
cflutist Posted September 19, 2017 #17 Share Posted September 19, 2017 Upgraded turndown service in the full suites means that the sheets should be changed every time the bed is slept in which means daily. That is what Princess told me. I never noticed on the Grand or Star, but did notice on the Pacific.
