Changing Sheets

Taking a 10 day cruise on the Royal. How often do you, should you, ask for the sheets to be changed? I assume there's a sign I can put on the bed? If I don't ask, would they be changed at all?

They try and change them every three days. On a 10 day cruise they should be changed twice.. The last change is on turnaround day .

True story.. This may on X, I slept on my chocolate mint. It was all over the sheets.. They were changed by the time i came back. I apologized to the cabin steward for my 'wife' doing that!:) He laughed and new that it was chocolate.. and that it was really me, lol!

Every 3 days.

But if something is on the sheets, like the chocolate smear, and it is after the steward has serviced your room, then a note to the steward gets it done. Page the steward if it is an urgent need. No problem. I like to leave a note anyhow, as it alerts the steward to something that might not be on today's service schedule. That's just courteous in my book.

Talk to your room steward about how often you would like your sheets changed. If he can do it he will, if not you will need to talk to his supervisor, how can approve a request.

This may sound dumb, but we have let our steward "off the hook" for changing our sheets every 3 days, especially in a cool climate cruise. After all, they only get changed once a week at home!;)
