stacystacy Posted February 8, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 8, 2018 Does it exist on NCL? MDR? Paid restaurant? I don’t care, I want some! :) Going on the Getaway in April. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Mistizoom Posted February 8, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 8, 2018 I had it in the MDR on the Getaway 2 years ago. I don't think the menus have changed since then.
lamchops Posted February 8, 2018 #3 Share Posted February 8, 2018 That’s my DWs favourite but I haven’t seen it on any cruise the last few years. It seems to be replaced with a salmon Wellington.
rocklinmom Posted February 8, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 8, 2018 I’ve only had it on Princess, never on NCL. But you never know. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
amallison Posted February 8, 2018 #5 Share Posted February 8, 2018 We had it on our Christmas cruise a few months back but it was a special menu and I don't remember seeing it on any of the regular menus.

LrgPizza Posted February 8, 2018 #7 Share Posted February 8, 2018 I had it on Escape in May, 2016, but it was not on the menu on Breakaway in May, 2017. I wouldn't have gotten it again anyway, because as far as Beef Wellington goes, it was a poor attempt.
victory2020 Posted February 8, 2018 #8 Share Posted February 8, 2018 Why not just go out to a local restaurant that serves it and get some? It's my favorite, & I work in the restaurant industry. Live in LA area & EXTREMELY hard to find. My restaurant makes it as a special but I have to beg the chef for it, Could be because it is labor intensive. Macaron Posted February 8, 2018 #9 Share Posted February 8, 2018 I had it on the Jewel a few years back & it's not something I remember with a particular fondness. I think I have only ever seen it once on a regular restaurant menu.

If I lived in the LA area, I'd be driving over to Las Vegas and buying it at Gordon Ramsey's Steak at the Paris hotel & casino. That's the best I've ever had. LrgPizza Posted February 9, 2018 #15 Share Posted February 9, 2018 They also serve it at his new Hell's Kitchen restaurant as Caesars. I figured they would, but I’ve heard it’s pretty impossible to get in there for right now. I’ll be out there a few times this year, but I’m going to wait on that one a while until the hype settles down.

Something fun! Posted February 9, 2018 #18 Share Posted February 9, 2018 They had beef wellington featured one night (5th or 6th night?) at the Garden Cafe buffet on the Dawn in September. It was delicious and I have been craving more ever since.
shadowmeboy Posted February 9, 2018 #19 Share Posted February 9, 2018 I have only seen it once. It was on the special MDR menu for Christmas 2017. It was good, but not overwhelming.
