Bayamo or Ocean Blue on the Escape?

A fellow cruiser in another forum recently returned from a week onboard the Escape. She heard that Ocean Blue will be replacing Bayamo. Has anyone heard about this or have additional information about the possible timing?"

This menu looks much more appealing than what I remember seeing on Bayamo last year when we were on the Escape. Might have to eat there this time around.

I fully agree. We dined in Bayamo on the Escape last fall - and, for me at least, it was difficult to find something appealing on the menu. When I saw this new menu, I booked two nights for our cruise this Saturday !!

Thank you for the updated menu. Did you notice if they changed the wine list also? Or the Pinchos menu, by any chance?

No idea. We'll know more after next week (though we never dined at Pinchos to begin with, so I would not know if it had changed).

Loved Food Republic. Are you saying the menu there is changing as well?

We are hearing they have made additions/deletions to the Food Republic menu. Hope someone can get a picture posted of the updated menu for those of us with upcoming cruises.

There is one posted in another thread. I think it’s a thread about things one must do on the Escape? Check there.

Bayamo is still there in name, but they now only offer the (basically) Ocean Blue menu.

Don't see any beef wagyu that was on the menu last year. It was my favorite.

Thanks! I was out of town for a couple of days and just catching up again. Very disappointed to see that most of our favorite Food Republic items are missing from that new menu. Will have to give the new menu a try, but will probably go to Pincho Tapas more than FR now.

I will miss those short rib dumplings, but still a lot of good things left. I’m lucky that many of my favorites are still there, but the prices seem higher.
