So, just for giggles (and to talk myself into upgrading from a Sky to a Star class suite) -- I ran the numbers on the freebies included above-and-beyond the Sky class perks. Numbers below assume a 7 day cruise. It looks like the "added value" is just under $1400. Am I missing any other hard ($) discounts?

One time charges:

Ultimate Dining Package $168.00

Chef's Table $95.00

Thermal Suite Access $99.00

Prohibition Event $35.00

Ship Tour $199.00

Per Day Charges:

VROOM $16.00/day $112.00

Deluxe Beverage Package $48.00/day $336.00

Gratuities $18.00/day $126.00

Per Use Charges:

Laundry Service $52.00/use 3x $156.00 1 bag, same day 50% surcharge

Dry Cleaning $23.00/use 2x $46.00 1 suit or dress, same day 50% surcharge

how does laundry work and how quick is it?  sameday/next day or longer? I am trying to pack and want to pack light

If we gave our laundry to our attendant fairly early, say by 9:00 AM it was back that evening. I brought 3 golf shirts 2 t shirts and 3 pairs of shirts and made it all week. We loved our last Star Class trip on Allure and will probably give it a shot on Symphony if prices come down to ridiculous from completely insane. We did have a great reception for our cabin crawl group, probably 50 people or so total with I think three hot and three cold appetizers plus beer, wine and soft drinks and while we did get a discount it ran about $1,000 plus tips to the staff. It was a lot of fun and well worth it.

I'm confused,  other folks have said they got their cabin crawl party for free.  They didn't include wine, though.

Sounds like they paid for bar and snack service.  We've had that before, but people just shared wine bottles they brought on the ship and got some snacks from WJ.

It was a good time, so glad people came. Thank you so much for organizing the cabin crawl. We are heading out on Anthem in March and if someone puts a cabin crawl together we will do it again. We did have several types of food both hot and cold, and several brands of beer, wine and soft drinks. There was at least one server, one bartender and an officer overseeing everything. I am sure those things were why it was priced the way it was. Had we asked for chips and other bar type munchies and soft drinks it would have been free or much less expensive. We had always kept to ourselves on our prior cruises so even signing up for the cabin crawl was a big step for us and the party seemed like a nice way to end it. We met so many nice folks and really enjoyed seeing and talking to them as we saw them over course of the week.

We had Star Class on Allure. It was one of my best cruises ever! We are booked on Harmony in March on Star Class. I am very impressed with our Genie! She has already emailed me many times! Very impressed! We are definitely foodies and having all food included is excellent! Being escorted off the ship was a highlight!

To repeat what molly said, Thank You for hosting all of us in your room for the cabin crawl.  It was a pleasure meeting you and your wife and everyone else on the Allure sailing.  We will be doing Ovation in July of this year.  Star class for 3 in Alaska was way to much for me to stomache.  Wish my brother and his family would have split the room as that would have made it more reasonable.

Meeting such fine and wonderful people is why I love the CC community and cruising.  I have met so many nice people from various parts of this country.  Living on an island, I love talking to people from all parts of the US (I have not met to many foreigners on our cruises).

I hope our paths cross again on a future cruise.
