Don't buy any dishes, expensive....

 

I resisted the dishes, mainly because I was worried about breakage and space. But I did get some lovely tea towels ;)

DH's was a ham & cheese type with the stuff inside.

 

Mine was a Coquilles Saint Jacques. Mine was exposed. (Sorry, I started to cut when I realized I didn't have the food porn pic).

Quimper is famous for it's pottery. It is really pretty.

We are now in Kingston-upon-Thames after an easy transfer from the ship. We enjoyed our visit to Quimper on Jacqui's bus, too. I have a couple of pictures to try to post, too. The cathedral was very interesting - I mainly looked at the windows. There was no rose window, but one I really liked was a gorgeous blue, and really all small pieces of stained glass, not painted, as so many are.

 

 

Another was so modern, it could have been designed by Gaudi.
