Travelcat2 Posted June 2, 2018 #26 Share Posted June 2, 2018 So,,,, this is not a normal embarkation. Reportedly, there were only 1200 people on the VIP / PR 2-day christening cruise (not verified) ending this morning. So, they called Group 1 at 10:45 this morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk We just got off of the christening cruise - it was three nights (there was a 2 nighter in Los Angeles.) and we thought that there were around 2,000 people but the number we heard could be wrong. Looking forward to reading about the experiences on the first "real" Bliss cruise!
phissy Posted June 3, 2018 #27 Share Posted June 3, 2018 We got off of the Bliss this morning. Hope that you have a great cruise on this very beautiful ship! You must be either celebrities or travel agents. The 2 day voyage promoted daily on our local news said it was a promotional cruise to introduce the new ship to those in Seattle involved in the travel industry. phissy Posted June 3, 2018 #28 Share Posted June 3, 2018 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Wow, Bulgari toiletries in a Mini Suite?? We have only been able to get those when we have booked an actual Suite. Also, on our local news station, they showed dining with lobsters. I thought NCL no longer served lobsters. I guess you can confirm the change or was this just for the VIP Cruise.
WanderlustJourney Posted June 3, 2018 #29 Share Posted June 3, 2018 Just got off the Bliss this morning... AMAZING ship! There were just over 3100 passengers on our 4 day/3 night sailing with VIP's including Pitbull, Jason Derulo, Wyland and his family and of course many top executives with NCL, Oceania and Regent. Have a great sailing to Alaska, I'll be following along! :)

I'm really hoping to see Prohibition, so I guess we will try to get those reservations as soon as we get on the ship. Thanks for the heads up and I hope you have an amazing time! shadowmeboy Posted June 3, 2018 #41 Share Posted June 3, 2018 If you know, where were the embarkation photos taken? In the terminal or on the ship? Following along thank you for sharing!
Rare BirdTravels Posted June 3, 2018 Author #42 Share Posted June 3, 2018 We saw a backdrop (1) downstairs before going to checkin. No photographers. No photos being taken when we boarded around 11:00. But there was a special if you buy the embarkation photo (that wasn’t taken) tonight. We found it fascinating that the restaurant photographers came back quickly with printed, framed dinner pictures,,,, and were able to sell a lot. Rare BirdTravels Posted June 3, 2018 Author #50 Share Posted June 3, 2018 BirdTravelsInteresting pics of door 1 or door 2. Could you please tell me if they had latitudes priority boarding after separating by decks??? Thanks Great pics of everything. I appreciate what you have posted so far. Another question, on your platinum voucher what did they replace Moderno with? Sent from my iPad using Forums First cruise. A few terminal hiccups. We are Platinum Plus, so I know what you’re asking. I did not see where the priority boarding seating was. I looked. I didn’t see the banner-up. There was a single priority entrance to the checkin line. And we were in line when we heard them call Group 1 at 10:45. I did not hear them call priority boarding, but that is sometimes done with an escort from the waiting area. After checkin, we waited in the boarding line and the agent asked for our Group card. I showed her my key and said that we were Platinum members and could board at any time. She looked at us like we had two heads and got upset. She said she never heard of platinum status. We just kept walking. Checkin ran out of boarding group cards, so the late comers were all swarming the boarding line before the early arrivers. There are 4700 passengers on this cruise (vs 4000 capacity). The Moderno certificate is shown below. Los Lobos and Q. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
