Photos of the Newly Renovated Mariner of the Seas!

Recommended Posts

Very very similar to independence.. same Windjammer carpet, wooden floors and chairs: same carpet in Boleros. It was only the furniture in the Solarium that looks very different and classy. They changed the name of the pub on her too; and the MDR is just called The Dining Room now.

You might want to look again. WJ chairs look very different. Lotus Lounge as well.

Sorry they didn't do more on Indy

I'm not booked on her until a charter in February, so 2 things I'm really looking forward to seeing are more pictures of the pool deck and the Suite/Concierge Lounge. The one on Navigator was a disappointment compared to Brilliance. Also, hoping the pool deck is a bit more accommodating for a larger stage (the charter is a music cruise).

Those are not the chairs that were there last month. And they are not the chairs on any WJ I've ever seen. So I guess Indy did get new chairs

I'm trying to explain what was on Mariner before refurb.

Pretty sure those chairs are new to Indy as well.

I think I got confused on your original post, sorry

My post stated what they did to Indie in May looks very similar to what they have now done to Mariner.

They must have a bulk purchase of those chairs, carpets etc....

Not uncommon.

Curious why last line of my reply didn't make it into your quote of me

I have no idea. I hit quote and then my reply. I did not intentionally remove it if that is what you are intimating.

In fact I don't remember reading 3 lines, I only saw 2.

I guess so, my post has not been edited.

That is the usual culprit.

No big deal

See how edit shows up. at bottom of the app and at the top of the web site

Let me get my head round this....

So first you say my pics of WJ on Indie are not of the WJ on Indie ...

Then you say I deliberately manipulated your post to exclude some of your text

When I say I did not you essentially call me a liar....

May I apologise to the OP for the way their post (and great pics) has been hijacked.

But I'm outta here.

and I edited this to correct a typo..and guess what..no mention of 'edit' at the top ... just saying

Post 58 was an apology for my misunderstanding

After that it's on you. [emoji6]

But there is on post 71. I really don't understand what happens on here. If I was in the wrong, I apologize.

But you came out pretty strong when I asked.

I just got off the Mariner earlier today and had a fabulous time. It was a VERY quick cruise (2 days), but myself and other coworkers were invited so 1. We can test out the customer service and renovations to make sure guests will have an amazing time and 2. We can have our own personal experience that we can share with others so they will want to sail on this beautiful ship. The staff was great and I have no complaints from my end. I will be limited to answer certain questions, as this sailing was made up of RCCL employees. However, I know everyone is seeking photos of the redesign, so that's what I'll be posting. Enjoy!

P.S. - I apologize in advance, but the photos will appear mixed together, as I couldn't figure out to organize the photos while using Flickr

Thanks for posting! I've been waiting for someone from that 2-day to post some pictures. Very disappointing about no cabin refurbishment.
