How formal on Oasis?

Recommended Posts

We are doing a Western Mediterranean on Oasis of the Seas in May, 2019. Since weight is so important when packing for a flight I was wondering - how formal are the formal nights? Are nice slacks and a blouse good enough for women and dockers with a polo for men? Will we be refused entry to the dining room?

Dress suggestions are not enforced, as you will see onboard.

Is Europe less formal than the Caribbean?

Plenty of tuxes and such on Caribbean cruises. Just curious if they are more prevalent on European cruises

The reports that I have read say that people dress up more on formal nights in Europe.
Thanks, I thought I'd read that as well. Haven't been on a Med cruise in a while, and never on a Baltic.

Pretty sure we're packing formal for our cruise out of Copenhagen next month

We've done Baltic, Med, Greek Isles, and a TA from Southampton. In my experience, they do tend to dress more every night. In general we saw most people following the suggested dress code.
