Rare Cruisegirl6 Posted August 5, 2018 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2018 Hello, I am so used to going on the newer larger ships but trying the Majesty in three weeks to Cuba. Can anybody tell me what your pros/cons are regarding the Majesty and does anybody have the 5 night menus?

BRC6C Posted August 5, 2018 #4 Share Posted August 5, 2018 We just got off the Majesty on the 1st. While the room was quite small there was plenty of storage space. I thought our waiters in the main dining room were some of the best we have had on a cruise. I loved that the ship was small enough that when I got turned around and went the wrong way it wasn't too far to fix my mistake!!
plus1cruiser Posted August 5, 2018 #5 Share Posted August 5, 2018 My favorite Johnny Rockets and I liked the festival celebration of the cruise workers countries in the atrium. Lots of fun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
ONECRUISER Posted August 5, 2018 #6 Share Posted August 5, 2018 Tiny staterooms. Agree. Couple of standard cabin's on her I stayed in only 122sq ft... But my Daughter has sailed on her 5 times in last 20yrs, even took her husband/daughter twice in last 2yrs. Said treated well by great Crew, food good... Though considered small now, as built Majesty(Sovereign Class) were first Mega Ship's & 30yrs ago Sovereign was largest Cruise Ship in the World... superduper123 Posted August 5, 2018 #8 Share Posted August 5, 2018 I sailed the Majesty for the first time in Jan, 2018. While I love the smaller class ships, the Majesty is my least favorite. Nothing in particular was "wrong" but I most likely will not book another one.

Iowa_Vike Posted August 5, 2018 #10 Share Posted August 5, 2018 Cons: Small rooms, older ship that shows the age some. Pros: Smaller ship easier to get around. Great staff. Been on her twice. one of my favorite ships.
cb at sea Posted August 5, 2018 #11 Share Posted August 5, 2018 ON this ship, I'd spring for a larger cabin...I can't do 122 sq. ft. with 2 in there...way too tight. Other than that, we don't use the "bells and whistles" of the larger ships, so you get a friendlier crew, more public space....I don't mind smaller ships, if I have a cabin I can move in! Scotty G Posted August 6, 2018 #15 Share Posted August 6, 2018 We do have the superior Oceanview room, we just booked four weeks ago and there were no suites/jr suites available. The SOVs on Majesty are approx the same size as the Jr Suites just no balcony. We have many cruises on Sovereign class ships and have always had great cruise experiences. Hope you enjoy yours!
