I noticed my Summit sailing for October 2019 had dropped so sent an email to my “big online TA” yesterday. to get the price drop. They left me a voicemail stating I must be confused about rates. No confusion but they responded after rates increased today. Will have to keep watching.

I was on board the Summit last week when I got the email regarding the sale. Jumped on it as soon as I came back. I did not book on board as the price was more than what was shown online so not always worth it. For cruises after the modernization they already raised the prices substantially.

If you see that again do a mock booking complete with screenshot and put a 24 hour hold. Then call your TA. I've had that work.

The only two cruises that I have booked that I could possibly benefit from increased by $200 pp pre “sale” Definitely not a sale for me. Already had the drink pack and to pay $200 more for $150 SBC doesn’t make sense.

The gratuities don’t amount to $200 and I don’t have any use or need for the internet.

 

Sorry folks but I am not going to use my money or waste my time posting dailies, writing my diary and wasting my time answering questions during my cruise.

Yes I normally take a screen shot but neglected to this time. I just quoted the rates I saw but they will not acknowledge that the rates were in effect when I emailed.
