Oh dear.  Hope they get it resolved soon.  Been there, done that.  Happened three times in one week on Freedom a few years ago.

Sound of anchor dropping whilst uploading? Thought that was global positioning..... maybe tenders being prepared? Whirring noises now.....  really really loud. Spot the paraglider.

 

Announcement on PA. They expect to start tendering in about 45 minutes.  Reckons it'll take 3 hours for everyone who has applied for tickets to go ashore. That's 1130am. Last returning tender 645pm. Could get off later for a wander round.

We are not alone. In town with us are :

Emerald Princess and MS Eurodam. 1123 just called tender ticket #1.

Had lunch in WJ. Was a ashore around 130pm, spent a little over an hour walking around trying to avoid vendors and am back on board. Cabo San Lucas is a bustling tourist resort. And it's hot.

The tender ride was choppy but not as bad as some I've been on. I don't do white knuckle rides!

 

I followed signs to downtown but took a slight detour before getting back on the marina path. Many, many bars, restaurants and street vendors.

I have never been to the Pacific coast ports. . . Only the Caribbean

After my last post I went back to my room. Sat on my bed. 3 hours later.....the sounds I had heard this morning are being repeated. We are under way. I rush to change and for dinner. My large decaf cappuccino is now cold but I take it with me!! 

 

They are lighting the tree and singing carols.

I have never eaten so fast IN MY LIFE!!! My table companions want to make the first show so ask the servers to be quick. They were. I am now alone.

 

The escargots were not good. They were bland and tasteless. I am also tweeting.....

 

Dining room is looking festive. 2nd seating being prepared downstairs.

 

I am now officially over the only GF bread they've served me and jacket (baked) potatoes which seems to be the only potato alternative they have to offer.

Have  visited the VOOM desk to get a copy of my access code. I was hoping to be refunded my D+ free minutes but no luck there on pre purchase. Have used my phone only so far.

Enjoying pictures of different things you see and run across .....been thinking about the outlets as most cabins dont have many......we have a cpap so hope there are some near bed as well.....appreciate the updates to familiarize our group with the ship a bit prior to getting on.  We have been on holland and princess but upcoming cruise on vision will be first on RC
