Started Progressive Trivia. Only one other in my team showed. 10/15 which is quite respectable.

Guest choir practice, Jersey Boys medley. Captain came on over the PA to say there were whales to the starboard side. Hope Bill managed to grab a pic.

The block was in my room when I went back to freshen up before goung ashore.

@creel5857it may depend on the room you have.....I don't believe I have any other sockets. Let special_needs@rccl.com know you are bringing a CPAP and request an extension cable from them.

You can notify RCCL and let them know you're bringing CPAP. They'll provide extension cord and distilled water. It's great and very easy!

8 venues 9 different dishes.  Cannot recommend Vallarta Food Tours and Amanda highly enough. Will spend tomorrow sharing some of the 100 pics I took! (when I'm not playing Trivia, singing or dancing!) Didn't make it to dinner tonight so no menu to share. Have something else to read instead.

I needed a decent decaf so armed with a large cappuccino from Lattetudes I am in WJ with a plate of antipasti to watch sailaway!!! How is it I'm still eating. Just had the 2nd 'Alpha Alpha Alpha' of the cruise. WJ is packed. 748pm ship time.

Puerto Vallarta.... starboard and port sides. I have totally missed sail in. We are currently turning in our berth to face open water. Struggling to upload now. Sigh.

There are 18 of us from the roll call. Due to ship time and local time being different our arrival at the meeting point is an hour late for our guide. We have jumped into a van and a taxi picked up at the port.

We start our walk to the first stop. There are many dogs, and music everywhere.

Our first street vendor. Tacos. Food is served on plates covered in plastic; they don't have the facility to wash plates and this is cheaper than using disposable plates. The tubs have different sauces... one hotter than the the next. I always go for the mildest addition. Delicious!!

Puerto Vallarta is very colourful. The streets are not tarmac..... cobbled and very uneven. As in Cabo San Lucas there are pharmacies offering medication without prescription.

Our next vendor has cold drinks. Amanda, our guide, helps to distribute a taster cup of each. Using fresh, locally grown fruit in season sugar is added. My favourite is pineapple and basil. In the largest urn is a concoction made with barley.

On to our next street vendor. Some people have purchased add ons to the tour that includes beer. Others buy margaritas. Bottled water has been distributed to all at the start of the tour. Octopus.

We have a river to cross....gingerly in my case. We traverse in small groups. Relatively secure if rickety.

Good morning. Continuing from where I left off yesterday.....

There is a lizard of sorts in the tree. I pointed and shot. I have no idea where it is!!

We are in a chocolate shop. The most delicious PROPER chocolate. We can choose from behind the counter. I have coconut.

Next stop we're in a family style fish restaurant for marlin and mahi mahi. The little bottles on the table contain various degrees of heat!

They just called another Alpha Alpha Alpha.

As we walk in to the next venue I'm thinking we're in a sports bar. 

Meat. On a revolving skewer.

Next venue. More fish. Someone told me their fitbit had her at 4 miles walked. Certainly felt like it. Humid. Several wobbly bridges.

Of all the places and food tasted I can't pick a favourite. Our final venue is for ice cream! I get salted caramel and pecans.

We make our way back to the ship by cab. Following advice from our guide we get dropped off at the Walmart across the road from the pier. Much cheaper that way! Sat  in WJ to observe sailaway.

Currently sat in the Centrum where there is a belly dance class in progress.

Wake pic from my early morning deck walk this morning. Asked for a bottle of water at breakfast. Great to see ecology consciousness  thriving. GF pancakes from breakfast. They were not good. Even slathered in syrup.
