Enjoying The Ultimate Beverage Package from My Cabin?

Hi guys :-)

I have read many conversations about drink packages.

No one seems to be asking the question I have:  How do you enjoy the drink package in your room?

When I am in a cabin with a balcony - I am there most of the time.

I want to enjoy my cocktails while watching the ocean go by!

It seems, to use the drink package, you have to go out and get the drink.

Aside from asking the bartenders to give me drinks with caps on them what else is there to do?

Most drinks with caps or tops are beer and maybe a mini champagne?

:classic_rolleyes:How do I enjoy my drink package from my balcony?

Any thoughts regarding this?

Thanks so much!

Get a large mouth thermos, order 2 drinks from every bar on the way back to your balcony, pouring each drink into the thermos before arriving at the next bar.  This really only works if you order the same cocktail every time. 🙂

You can get up to two drinks at a time, being them back and enjoy. After two drinks you either doze off of fame a short walk to refill. No one is coming to the cabin to serve you on the package.

What about using a water bottle? If it is 32 ounces you could fit a few beers or mojitos in it.

It's a good idea and I might try it- it would be good to be able to get a drink 6am before heading out sometimes to the gym or breakfast

You could alternatively order a Bar-Set-Up from Room Service LINK below and have full liter bottles to mix and pour

your favorite drink. But this is at odds with the UBP - you could have both if you can afford it !

In addition to the Bar-Set-Up program is the Buckets of beer* and the Viva Vino wine packages.

* Bucket of beer - buy 5 get one free

But if you have the UBP this is sort of overkill.

Thank for the info and the link.

Yes the bar set up is a good idea.  Yes that with the UBP would be over kill.

Maybe just choose one or the other!

I wonder with the UBP if I can take a bucket of beer at a time to the room.  Now THAT would be reasonable!

I am sure I will be underutilizing the UBP.  I am more of a laze-in-the-sun and read-a-good-book Sea Day cruiser.

Running to bars and collecting things to take back to the room... doesn't sound relaxing to me.

We don't spend much time in our cabin but I know what you mean. We usually save our wine from our platinum wine instead of drinking it at dinner. Then we do have wine in our cabin if we want to enjoy a glass or two. We do, love that night cap, so stop by a bar on the way back to the cabin at night Otherwise we just survive without it.
