Kettles in cabins on Millennium?

I am looking forward to our cruise from Hong Kong in March and was hoping that someone who is travelling aboard Millennium at the moment can tell me if kettles are provided in all cabins. 

As a Brit, I love my early morning cup of tea made with freshly boiled water and I bring my own tea bags and coffee pouches. 

I know that the majority of ships that sail from the UK have kettles in the cabins and believe the same is true for many ships sailing in Asia. I was successfully able to request a kettle when we sailed on Constellation 2 years ago so hope to have the same opportunity this time.

To my knowledge the only ships in Celebrity Fleet with kettles are ships based in Southampton - Silhouette.    I was just recently off Millennium (pre-revolution) and there were no Kettles available.

We have cruised twice out of Hong Kong on Millie. The best thing is to ask your cabin attendant right when you get on board.

I would not expect to get one but you might get lucky.  All you can do is ask.  Otherwise, you can order hot water from room service.

I was on Millennium pre-Revolution and they didn't have any kettles.   Butler offered to bring a Carafe  of hot water but I declined.

We have spent more time on Millennium than any other Celebrity ship and I have never seen a kettle in the cabin.  We bought a very small one in a travel shop and it works well.  Your best bet is to order tea from room service.

Personal kettles and other devices (other than hair curlers and straighteners) are generally not allowed on Celebrity ships.

Tea from room service is never going to be anything but a huge disappointment.  By the time the water gets to the cabin, it will be at least 10-15 minutes from having boiled.  The best substitute I’ve found is to go to the buffet and make my tea there, with my own tea bag.  Still not boiling water, but so much hotter than what room service can provide.

we were on Reflection last year, asked for a kettle, no problem. Makes such a difference!

you can go to OVC or Café Al bacio and get tea / coffee

the tea they had in Café Al Bacio on Solstice last year was very nice - as was the coffee
