If you want a real beef on weck, (the real name for it), you go to the Buffalo, NY area, where I believe it was invented.

Best ever is at the Bar Bell in East Aurora, NY.

None compare. Hard roll not only has salt on it, but rye seeds. Roast beef is tender, au jus is perfect, and roll is authentic.

I love the chilled soups in mdr.  Watermelon soup is one of my favorites as well as lobster night.  I order a ceasar salad and 3 lobster tails to mix in salad.  Delicious.

We love the Horseradish salmon, the lasagna and the apple pie.  The lamb shank and escargot were especially good on our sailing on Allure.  After the second night, the waiter automatically brought us escargot to share every night.

The last time we sailed with RCCL was 2007. We only intend to eat for free in the MDR and Windjammer, so any other recommandation would be appreciated. 

 

I was just on Explorer, it had a Park Cafe, but no Kimmelweck. Substitute roast beef instead.

Best thing I ever had on a RCCL Cruise was the Grand Marnier Souffle with vanilla sauce that I am attempting to replicate (March 2019 on Oasis 2nd formal night).

Orange white chocolate flan. I'm not at all exaggerating when I say that it was the best dessert I've ever had. It was served at lunch one day in the MDR on Liberty.
