Tell me about Carnival Breeze please

We've just booked for next August having previously sailed twice on the vista, also on the Victory, Glory and the Sunshine. We'd be really grateful for any opinions or personal experiences about the Breeze. Thank you

IMO...Dream class is best class of ships. Breeze is our favorite ship. Wonderful layout and the  promenade deck with ample seating and drink/eating options outside is a huge plus!! Plus the waterworks area was fantastic...which was a new addition to the fleet when the ship came out in 2014....now most ships have been refitted/updated with the waterpark....Also liked the ship and layout much better than the Vista (except for the Havana area cabins)!

The Breeze is a joy, and my favorite ship.  Decor is lovely, layout is convenient, deck 5 is open all the way around and offers active, fun locations and quiet, seldom used locations, and amazing views of the wake.

The thrill theatre is a lot of fun, the kids clubs are fun, the library is a nice getaway spot.  The piano bar can be great, depending on the entertainer.

I've stayed in aft-extended balconies, regular balconies on deck 9, cove balconies, and spa interiors on the Breeze.  All cabins were roomy and comfortable.

The spa interior was my favorite.  The spa on the Breeze is fantastic.  If you haven't experienced a thalassotherapy pool you should give it a try.

I am still miffed that Carnival took her away from Galveston.  I hope you enjoy her as much as I did.

On the other hand, I am glad Beeze is now located in Florida and Galveston has Vista now. Dream class ships are far superior to Vista class ships in my opinion.

I'm going on the Breeze in July and September. The Magic is my fav. ship , so no worries about the Breeze! Less than 140 days until visiting the Alchemy Bar and fishbowl drinks at the  Red Frog.

PhillyFan I feel Galveston got the short end of that swap.  I have no interest in the Vista.

We also got the Dream but she offers a maximum of five day sailings.

I've switched to the Freedom but sure miss the Breeze.

We've been on all three Dream Class ships and the Breeze is my favorite, probably my favorite of the fleet.  Her decor is a bit more laid back, less neon and more Caribbean/beige/palm trees than either of her sisters.  There is plenty to do for entertainment, she sails great itineraries and we're hoping to sail her again this year.

I loved the Breeze this past Christmas so much that I booked it again this Christmas

Although this time I booked us for Spa Rooms ... We absolutely loved the spa the thermo pool is amazing!

Next time I will be bringing my own scrubs for the Spa - they charge like $6 a scoop in their

We hung out at the red frog ALL the time

Yes it is helpful. Instead of waiting for people to reply, there are hundreds of reviews with the info they are looking for.  I start with reviews when I do my research.

Other than putting "Carnival Breeze" in the search bar, is there a better way to find reviews specific to a ship?

Yes.   If on a computer, click RESEARCH at the top of the page.  The choose reviews and choose your ship.  You will see alot more info than what has been posted in this thread.

Good to hear all these positive reviews. We sail in 18 days. Cant wait. This is my first Carnival cruise. Prior cruises were with NCL and Royal.

Having your first Carnival cruise on the Breeze is what I call having dessert first.  Enjoy!

My wife is wondering if there is a place to hang up the over the door shoe rack.  It's a plastic thingy she uses to to hold random things for us and the kids.  We are about 50/50 on them working in the last few cruises.

Thanks Jeff

Yes, it can hang over one of the closet doors (at least, that's where we put it).
