*Matching Tshirts (Charge a bit extra for the shirts and the leftover money goes toward buying supplies for idea #2)

*Make bar themed shots in your cabin and bring them for the people in your party to drink before each bar

*Make a scavenger hunt (something to find/do and take a pic of in each bar)

*Bring a speaker so you guys can have music or a theme song as you travel from bar to bar

*Maybe a whistle to signify last round so you can head to next bar

I wonder if Carnival ever tried such an event. Like maybe it's $5-$10 to sign up, and you can get discounts on drinks?

Some do that rock the promenade thing after the welcome aboard show where they spend some time in each venue. Kind of similar. Doesn’t cost anything.

We have been on two cruises where the first night Welcome Show ended with the CD leading everyone around the ship on a Bar Crawl.  We stopped at all bars and where live music was playing for about 15-20 min, sang with band, did a salsa dance lesson with the latin band playing at one stop,  did a game at Piano Bar, etc.  It was a blast both times.  Hope our next cruise on Vista in April does the same thing.  About 50-100 people joined in one time, but it dwindled to maybe 30 by the end.

We did a poker type theme. We picked five bars on the ship and everyone had to pay a buy in ($5, $10, whatever you want). At each bar, once someone finishes their drinks they get a card from a standard deck. At the end of the five bars, the person will the best hand overall wins the pot!

I cruised with a guy who cruises multiple times a year and does a pub crawl on each ship. He buys an inflatable toy ship from the Fun Shops and takes it and a Sharpie with him to have bartenders at each bar sign the ship.
