Johnamac123 Posted April 15, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 15, 2019 I've been on three RCI cruises and have always set up my on board account with the credit card I intended to pay with when I do my 90 day pre-registration. With security issues seeming to continue to rise, I am considering pre-registering as a cash account then switching to a credit card when boarding. On one we changed to credit card when we checked in at the port and on the other we changed on the last night at guest services. No. We kept it as a cash account throughout the cruise but when we went to settle on the last night we gave them a credit card instead of cash and asked them to process the transaction on the spot. That's why I wanted to switch at boarding. TY We went late, at about 11 pm, and there was no line at that time. But adding the credit card when checking in at the port was dead easy too. Probably took a little longer for us as our cards are European and they had to do some additional check but even so it couldn't have taken longer than 30 seconds. I've always input my credit card number when setting up my SeaPass account online but this sounds like a great option now.
