pixiedust777 Posted April 25, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 25, 2019 No. I have never seen afternoon tea offered on NCL. I have enjoyed on other cruise lines

Markanddonna Posted April 26, 2019 #4 Share Posted April 26, 2019 Afternoon tea is not an NCL tradition although the buffet on our May transatlantic had traditional tea foods set out in the buffet around 3PM. Scones and that sort of thing, but not a formal offering like on other cruise lines.
janice2348 Posted April 26, 2019 #5 Share Posted April 26, 2019 It’s part of the more expensive romance package. Wonder what they serve?

Rare BirdTravels Posted April 26, 2019 #7 Share Posted April 26, 2019 (edited) We see tea treats like scones with cream and jam on the afternoon buffet on small ships. We also saw it on the Bliss to Alaska in the Observation Lounge. Kinda a do it yourself afternoon tea. They have them on some ships that have a higher percentage of English and Australians. I saw it in Alaska (HAL)and on a Transpacific.
Dagent145 Posted April 26, 2019 #9 Share Posted April 26, 2019 I had seen something about tea as a room service option for suites. Is that not a thing anymore?
worktocruise610 Posted April 26, 2019 #10 Share Posted April 26, 2019 not afternoon tea, but they do have have stuff in the buffet from about 3 until 5 I think. Can't remember exactly what was there but certainly not finger sandwiches or other things that would be at an afternoon tea. My husband loved the afternoon tea on Celebrity but "settles" for this, as long as he can have an afternoon snack 😉
Rare Clay Clayton Posted April 27, 2019 #11 Share Posted April 27, 2019 On our Star Fall 2018 TA, The Garden Cafe offered scones, some sandwich makings (bowl of egg salad comes to mind), and some sweets. While not “proper” tea (we got to do that on Viking-pics below), it was nice on a day we hadn’t had much lunch.
Rare lupaglupa Posted April 27, 2019 #12 Share Posted April 27, 2019 No tea on our two NCL cruises, though we love it on other ships. HAL does tea a couple of times each cruise. On the Queen Mary II we had it every day!

dcruiser50 Posted April 28, 2019 #14 Share Posted April 28, 2019 No formal tea just snacks, self service in buffet, on the last 16 cruises that I've been on
