millersunlakes Posted May 26, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2019 What is the minimum attire on the Alaskan cruise Formal nights? Also do they have a guest self-laundry onboard?

Attire: This is a very touchy subject and your question will probably generate pages of opinions. The Princess policy does not change based on itinerary. Basically, you will be allowed to enter the DR as long as you have no shorts and a nice shirt or top. Many men will wear sports jackets or suits. Shorts will most likely be allowed on boarding day and maybe the last evening. It all depends on the maitre'd.
Rare cr8tiv1 Posted May 26, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 26, 2019 I really want to respond to the "minimum attire" and laundry , but would probably be thrown out of CC. Have a fun cruise
Steelers36 Posted May 26, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 26, 2019 (edited) CJSKIDS/Carolyn - Now we have stickies for Medallion. And the ancient smoking one still exists even though that policy changed before I had gray hair. How about one for clothing and then we won't have a new thread every three days asking about it? What do you think? Edited May 26, 2019 by steelers36

Laundry rooms are closed on some days on the Alaska itinerary.
MissP22 Posted May 26, 2019 #8 Share Posted May 26, 2019 Every deck has a self service laundry. Minimal dress on formal nights for the guys is a pair of Dockers & either a dress shirt, Polo or guayabera shirt and for the women a pair of slacks with just about any dressy top will suffice. cruzsnooze Posted May 27, 2019 #10 Share Posted May 27, 2019 No speedo's for men or bikini's for women and you'll get in the dining room.
Dreamer115 Posted May 27, 2019 #11 Share Posted May 27, 2019 Just off Golden and I found people dressed more on this cruise than any other I have been on. Even on non formal nights. We only went to DR one night and was quite surprised. However that does not mean you have to dress up as much as they did.
MissP22 Posted May 27, 2019 #12 Share Posted May 27, 2019 I believe millersunlakes is aware of the Princess dress code & was looking for the minimum dress acceptable on their cruise.
