Breeze Upgrade

Hey Want to know what you all think?? They want to upgrade us from Deck #6 middle to the Spa deck #11 at the front of the boat. I am not sure if this is a good upgrade moving all the way to the top of the ship? I am worried about sea sickness. Any thoughts if I should accept this upgrade or not??

We always book an upper deck at front of ship - love that location - husband likes being near gym, I like high deck. All that to say if we were offered from Deck 6 mid to Spa Deck front we would definitely take it.

Depends on how much for the upsell.

Depends on your current cabin.  There are lots of noisy areas on deck 5.  Are you above the theatre or the casino?  Are you in a balcony?  To me, deck 6 is probably the least desirable location on Dream class ships.

How much is the upgrade?

What's above the deck 11 cabin?

I would probably jump on it unless you chose your cabin for a specific reason.

The upgrade is free since they messed up on my original room.

We currently have a balcony on the 6th floor. There are rooms above us on deck 7 and the lanai below us on deck #5

Yes they are offering free spa access

Just worried about motion sickness even though I get the ear patches. Also worry about walking down to decks 3-4-5 for the night time events and dinners and casino.  Also coming back from excursions will take forever to get back to the room.

I know how long elevators take on the cruise ships so that is alot of stairs- HA..

I have to make a decision today 😞

I don't know where your balcony cabin is on deck 6, but people can see you on your balcony from the lanai deck and if you are near one of the hot tubs then they can see in to your cabin.  It can also be noisy around the outside seating areas.  We won't book a balcony on deck 6 for those reasons.  Some locations would be more problematic than others.  Don't know anything about spa cabins, so can't help you there.

If you are going to get sea sick you’ll get it whether you’re on deck 6 or 11. I’ve never noticed a difference in movement between decks on a cruise ship. If seas are rough you’ll feel it everywhere. We stayed on 12 and loved the location. If I were you I’d jump on that. Have a great cruise!

How, exactly did they "mess up your room?" It might factor in how much they are willing to do for you. I don't understand the free then $200 if you really had today to decide.

Maybe you could move to a quieter deck that is not so far up instead if anything is available. Also, do you not have a specific PVP or a TA? This would be one of the things they would be good at/for.
