Travelling on Sapphire Princess Jan./2020 and would like to know if there is still happy hour in one of the bars every day.  If so is it buy 1 get the second for $1, thank you.

Sad but true.  Last time we had it was on ISLAND around S.A. in Winter 2018 (so not all that long ago).  It was to be pulled part way through, but then they did put it back on occasionally for rest of cruise.

No happy hour anymore.

The Island Princess had it in the Wheelhouse Bar in December of 2017. It was very popular. There was no happy hour on the next two Princess cruises we took.

The closest thing is a lounge for platinum and elites for hors d'oeuvres before dinner with a few lower price drinks but nowhere a dollar.

The old Happy Hour is now called the "Princess Sock It Too Me"😂

They were supposed to replace it with someone else but so far have not

Very sadly HH has been eliminated.  They promised a substitute but we are all still waiting.

It has been replaced with "Buy one at full price and get a second one by paying full price again.

Still doing it on HAL, buy one get a second for $2, twice a day.

Between that and the strange drink specials at the platinum/elite lounge they have helped to reduce our bar bill by quite a bit.
