Any suggestions where to have the taxi stop to get wine on our way to Port Everglades.  We will be coming from the airport.  Couldn’t fly in day before for work obligations

Total wine in the Harbor Shops off 17th St.  Near the north entrance to the port.

Isn't there also a Publix near the port at Harbordale?

There's a Publix in the same shopping center as Total Wine.  I don't know if that is Harbordale.

You can probably pre-pay your wine with Total Wine so they will have it ready for you to stop in, pick up, then head for the port.  🍷

Good point, we've done that a couple of times and the taxi wait has been less than 5 minutes.

The Total Wine is located at 1906 Cordova Road.  The Publix is at 1940 Cordova Road.

I could not find a street named Harbordale, but there's an area near the port with that name, and I think we might be talking about the same shopping center.

The Center is called Harbor Shops

There is also a Walgreens with a liquor store on Stirling & Federal Hwy.  And a CVS on the corner of 17th St and Federal Hwy.

Both the Publix and Total Wine in the Harbor Shops are in the neighborhood called Harbordale.  There is also a Crown Liquor and Winn Dixie on the other side Cordova and 17th St.

You'll probably get the better price at Total Wine.  🍷

Along with the best selection, and as mentioned already, the ability to order and pay ahead of time so there's very little time lost with a taxi waiting.

Total Wine at 1906 Cordova is our go-to as well. Order your booze online in advance of your arrival. Free pickup and go. We always fly in the day of our cruise, get bags, Uber it to the port and enter in Total Wine's address as a "stop" and while enroute.

We stopped at the Publix last year for wine and it worked out great. Only challenge is we took an Uber from the airport to Publix and had issues getting the same Uber to the port. We ended up making it work, but taking a taxi might be easier.
