Any Update on Vista Skyride?

DH and I are sailing on the Vista next Saturday. I know the skyride is out of commission for September, due to maintenance issues. Has anyone heard if it will be operational for the October 5th sailing? Has anyone on board this week heard anything from Carnival regarding the skyride? Thanks, in adavance, for any updates.

We're on this sailing as well.

I'm healing from leg surgery so can't ride but very interested to see if they have the issues worked out.

I'm on the Vista December 7, 2019.   I sure hope the skyride is working by then.  I really want to give it a try.  Does anyone know why it is not up and running?

If you read Sids live blog post from the Horizon last week, he took pictures of the skyride being worked on.  From his pictures they were doing welding on the track which looks like they are welding all the joints in the track instead of just relying on the bolts to hold it all together.  Chances are the skyride won't be ready.  I have a sailing on the Horizon on Oct. 19 and I am not counting on it being open.

I asked John Heald on his Facebook page for any updates (for Vista) and he wrote saying he will let us know ASAP and to please stay tuned.

According to sources, the Skyride on the Vista is up and running.

It was down nearly the entire cruise when we were on Vista April 2017. Then it was so packed, it wasn't worth standing in line. Seems like this is down more than it is up.

We board Vista next Saturday the 12th, I hope it is working and I will give it a try, but if not I will still have fun... I will give ropes course a try too.

Just off the Vista last Saturday. It was down the whole trip but, I did see them working on the tracks. Hope it is up and running for y'all!

According to our room steward the Sky Ride is still down for maintenance.

He isn't sure how much longer it will take.

I will try to ask Guest Services later on.

Yes, we were on the Vista last week (10/12-10/19) and it was working.

I saw posts mentioning the Skyride was also down on the Horizon, does anyone know if it has been reopened recently?
