Another headache for Princess. I sincerely hope these three passengers test negative so the whole ship doesn't have to go into quarantine/isolation.

Am I right in thinking that  Princess is the ONLY cruise line that appears to have had cases on board - getting to be a bit of a habit

One would think of it like a cyber attack on certain companies. Princess is surely copping it bad.

No, there have been a few others as well. But there is obviously something that Princess is doing that is making them very susceptible.

I've been on both Diamond and Golden.

No you are wrong, these are “some” of the ships over the past 4 weeks. Just seems Princess get the coverage.

I actually think there is more than one MSC ship, can’t think of the name though. The Fred Olsen ship is off  the Bahamas in quarantine at sea with confirmed cases now!!

Diamond Princess

Grand Princess

Carnival Panorama

A Nile River Cruise Ship (not named)

Costa Fortuna

MSC Opera

Braemar - Fred Olsen Line (yesterday)

 to name a few

It looks like the Golden and Ruby and any other ships in NZ waters won't be able to come back to Australia. Maybe passengers will do 14 days quarantine on board, then disembark in NZ and fly home to do another 14 days self-isolation at home.

No Aus Traveller, surely not!!
No reason these passengers cannot arrive back in Australia and go into  self isolation for 14days from the ship.
All this will take is everyone wearing a properly fitted mask, supplied by NSW Health, until they reach home.

At some point trust becomes a huge part of this whole situation or we may as well all lock our doors and stay at home now. Just saying .......

Maybe the NZ'ers will regard the passengers on the Ruby and the Golden as already in New Zealand. They are. If the ships are not permitted to return to Aust, then probably the pax can be flown home for 14 days isolation at home.
