They were great bless em ! When upset  she would say ..

“Stop crying or I’ll give you something to cry about.” when I already was 🙃

 

Her main gripe was as I got older was I treated the house like an hotel .

So in tribute to her I gave her 3 stars on Trip Advisor 🙂

My Mum used to say.Make sure you've got clean pants on ,case you get run over.Then I thought if I did how are they gonna measure the skidmarks.

Looks good and the evening restaurant menu doesn't look too bad or expensive.

When I had my ganglion cyst removed (under local anaesthetic) I had high BP for the first time (even 8 months pregnant my BP was fine) This must have been 9 years ago. I didn’t feel anxious but it was on the high side, I had to get three separate readings at my GPs before they would do it! They said then ‘white coat syndrome’. On the day of the procedure of course it was high again. The nurse just said ‘is it us?!’ 
 

Then of course I had my stent fitted and then put on BP medication, although it’s a lowish dose.

My mam used to say 

Just wait till your dad gets home.

He was a maintenance electrician in the shipyards and often got home hours after we had gone to bed.😇😃

Silly question , but why was he dressed as a Dalek on his birthday. Am trying to work out the link !

Getting worried as I am celebrating a special birthday alongside Dr Who this year. Just don't want hubby to see this to give him ideas !

Be very careful if he offers to take you to Oscars in Newcastle-under-Lyme.  They used to have a Dalek in there.

I haven't  been there for several years so I'm not sure if the Dalek is still in residence.
