It looks like the northbound Suez convoy is starting with the Rotterdam leading the pack.  I did one Suez transit in 2007 on the Silver Whisper:

 

 

I wasn't impressed with Silversea but did enjoy the transit as well as Petra.  I had hoped to return to Petra on the Amsterdam in 2021 but now it will not happen.

The strange thing is usually it hails for five minutes, this went on for nearly half an hour.   We were actually lucky, parts of our city is still recovering from baseball sized hail😫
