Where was I?

Recommended Posts

Yes of course and when I saw it, I went back to crop the photo but you of course were too eagle eyed! 😂

Just near Kyoto Station which is a landmark in its own right,

Was supposed to be there in a couple of months with a friend - my how thngs went pear shaped this year.

Your turn now.

Just getting set to hit the hay.  No, I did not know the rules.  Will begin to comply tomorrow morning; have gazillions of photos to choose from.  Good night.....

Coq-a-doodle-doo to the Antipodeans!

Where are these fumaroles?

Too easy.  I don’t suppose you’d hazard a guess on where in Iceland?

Welcome glad you can participate😊. I was thinking it looks like Námafjall Hverir geothermal area in North Iceland?

Orthodox but not Russian. Go a little west and much more south from Russia.

St Georges church, Oplenac

Got it! The church is a riot of colour with gorgeous bright frescos all over the walls and ceilings with no sapces left empty because apparently empty spaces is considered bad😳 then when you go down into the crypt all the walls and ceilings are filled with glittering mosaic tiles and the way the light bounces of them is so beautiful🤗. My photos just don't do it justice.
