Yes, it is a nice place.  Maybe next year?

Hopefully so. Sapphire Princess is programmed to do the same itinerary 21/22.

Princess are still adamant this years cruise will go ahead, hopefully they will cancel before final payment is due middle of October.

I am going on the same cruise as you, hopefully we get there 🙂

It’s my retirement trip, we will certainly try to do it next year, for me it ticks so many boxes. South America, Falklands, Cape Horn and Antarctica.
We were looking at a side trip to Easter island before returning home.

Do you have any particular favourite aspects of the itinerary?

Thanks for big hint.  It looks a fascinating place.

I knew we would get there in the end🤗 It is a beautiful place. Up close the water is turqouise but so clear you can see the bottom on the opposite side of the river😆 and even on a hot day it stays chilled, I remember the limestone felt cool under my feet so I think thats why. For me it is also memorable for the place I had the best chocolate ever😋. It was a traditional Mayan hand grinded semi solid cocoa bean paste, that had no bitterness but this natural sweet and smokiness.

Love the turquoise colour of the water.  Did you visit on a cruise?  The chocolate sounds delicious.  Was it a drink?

Hoping one day to get to Ushuaia🤗. Continuing the game, going for another iconic view point:

An interesting place, we called in there on Golden Princess in 2014, BA to LA. The Antarctic Expedition ships go south from there. You go on a little train trip to the 'End of the World.'

I am surprised I hadn't heard of it.  But my experience of Central America is limited to around the Panama Canal.
