Probably more accurate view at 1:45 AM Morning on the canal Ran outside to take a picture of Laura in our room FWIW, the room next door is probably the best one in the hotel Our friends Carla and Dave had it the week before. @golfpccc It's a giant corner room, it usually gets booked early The Bethel was undergoing an expansion. Not sure if it's done yet Here are some construction pictures Doors on our floor to an interior balcony Waiting on our cab

Rare John&LaLa Posted September 5, 2020 Author #236 Share Posted September 5, 2020 Here are some pictures of the elevator from the street level. You enter from outside the hotel. Not uncommon in Europe You enter thru the door in the center of this big door Looks like this on the inside of the courtyard This is the actual elevator Ready for the airport

I think it is the centurion lounge I prefer when at jfk. Of course that all depends on terminal. They do have to rely on the overseas lounges of their partners, though. Copenhagen uses the SAS lounge, and Barcelona uses a lounge run by the airport, I think. Thanks for this thread John. Nice to read a cruise report, even if it's a couple of years old. @Bailey & Sophie - I've flown Delta Business Class to many cities around the world and always had access to a lounge. As John said, they usually use a partner lounge and sometimes you need a separate paper pass (not your boarding pass) to get into the lounge. The lounge pass should be offered to you when checking in without needing to ask but I've found that's not always the case and you may need to ask for it. In some cases, the lounge isn't worth the effort. I've not been to Sydney (yet) but it looks like they use the Virgin Australia Lounge.
