Outdoor Movies

We are looking forward to the day the pandemic is over and we can take a cruise to celebrate DH's retirement.  We often choose a veranda cabin near the forward elevator on the Navigation deck.  Since the Pinnacle class ships have outdoor movies shown near the Lido pool area we likely to hear movie noise in our cabin?  Thanks for any info or experience,

I doubt it...but it depends on how close you are to being under the Lido area. If you are aft of 8031/8032, your chances grow some.

I've only cruised that ship class once.  The movie volume wasn't that loud in the lido.  Plus, they always had the roof closed at night when they were playing the movie.  Based on this one experience, I think you'll be ok.

We were in 8037 last January and heard nada. Very quiet!  We would book it again no problems.

I agree the volume is not terribly loud, we strained to hear the movie.  The movies start fairly early as I recall so unless you are very early to bed you shouldn't be bothered.

I   am not a movie goer but I have walked throgh that area--the pool area--and the volume was not that loud.  Movies are over by 10PM

Goodness, could they not put movies on at midnight for all us night owls.

By midnight they are turning out the lights and the crew are all in bed!  LOL

I once had a room on the navigation deck Starbord sie just below the Lido deck. Each night after the movie they would re arrage the deck chairs after the movie and that would make it difficult to go to sleep as the noise was quiet loud.

I hadn't thought about the chair noise.  I am glad you mentioned it.
