Rare hammo Posted February 22, 2021 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2021 We have booked a couple of short cruises - just 5 days Quantum and 3 days Oasis to finally get back at sea . Booked direct last December for sails Jan 2022 and just convinced friends to get onboard also . Sadly for us - lucky for them - they booked the cabin just across from us and paid $300 less. Seems booking early doesnt pay off - I assume we have no chance of getting a reduction .
smokeybandit Posted February 22, 2021 #2 Share Posted February 22, 2021 You have every chance. If you see your class of room for that cruise with a cheaper price, call up RC/or your TA and get the cheaper price.

Rare hammo Posted February 22, 2021 Author #4 Share Posted February 22, 2021 Thankyou all for the info - I did locate the Cruise with Confidence article - I should have been so much better at this - so out of practice for an experienced cruiser . Hope we can get back to semi - normal - covid normal cruising - we have missed 3 cruises last year and there is an expectation we can get back to cruising albiet with a safe happiness . Thanks again - the fare difference will be spent onboard anyway !
jalves Posted February 22, 2021 #5 Share Posted February 22, 2021 Is it possible that their room being "just across from us" is a different category room?

CWC applies globally and besides they came back in post 3 and it sounds like they had it applied as he referenced spending it on board.
