Yes,  we can’t justify $1000 more for basically the same food ( except for one nightly addition) in basically the same dining room.  We book Traditional dining, so we never have to wait in line and we have the same waitstaff for the entire voyage.  The service has always been very good to excellent.  I just don’t get it, but to each their own.

If you prefer traditional fixed dining and do not value the better cabin locations, Club dining may not be for you at any price.  You might be able to book a Club Class Mini for just a few hundred dollars more, so you can experience it for yourself.  “Except for one nightly addition” does not adequately describe the improved dining options IMO, which also includes  breakfast (even on the last morning) and sea day lunches.
By the way, I think even those that value the Club experience might question the value of your  $1000 surcharge.  I dislike fixed traditional dining and I also dislike Princess’s any time dining at times.  Club dining is much better than Anytime dining IMO.  Therefore Club Class dining is an attractive option for me.

There are certainly people who have tried the Club class mini, who agree with you.  I just do not think you will know unless you experience it.

I’m just happy that there are so many options for everyone’s tastes and needs.  Some folks love Anytime Dining.  Some folks prefer to eat dinner in The Buffet.  For us Club Class would be an option if the price was not so prohibited for us.  Perhaps there will be a sale or a visit by the Upgrade Fairy which would give us the opportunity to try it out.  Until then, we’ll enjoy our midship mini suite with Traditional Dining and a couple of Specialty Restaurants.  Can’t wait to board Enchanted Princess!
