This is not the forum to discuss addictions .We should be discussing our love of cruising. Then just like avoiding smoking areas ... you should avoid clicking into and participating in this topic. Easy peasy.

We have been streaming music for 20yrs. We started with Napster. You don't even need a CD drive on a computer anymore although I purchased an external CD drive to upload old pictures to the cloud that I had on CD. Netflix put Blockbuster out of business because people aren't even using a DVD player anymore. Edited March 25, 2021 by Iamcruzin
davekathy Posted March 25, 2021 #153 Share Posted March 25, 2021 Every time I read a thread/post about smoking in a ships casino, the song "Smoke On The Water" comes to mind. 1

That was Deep Purple 1971 referring to the Montreux, Switzerland Casino fire. The smoke could be seen on adjacent Lake Geneva. I visited in 1977 and heard the whole story from the locals. Hopefully the smokers on ships (if they even allow smoking anymore) will not set a ship on fire. 🎼🎶 🎵 We all came out to Montreux On the Lake Geneva shoreline To make records with a mobile We didn't have much time Frank Zappa and the Mothers Were at the best place around But some stupid with a flare gun Burned the place to the ground Smoke on the water A fire in the sky Smoke on the water They burned down the gambling house It died with an awful sound Uh, Funky Claude was running in and out Pulling kids on the ground When it all was over We had to find another place But Swiss time was running out It seemed that we would lose the race Smoke on the water A fire in the sky Smoke on the water We ended up at the Grand Hotel It was empty, cold, and bare But with the Rolling truck Stones thing just outside Making our music there With a few red lights, a few old beds We make a place to sweat No matter what we get out of this Ha, I know, I know we'll never forget Smoke on the water A fire in the sky Smoke on the water 🎼🎶 🎵 2

Antis were mad that smokers found away around their BS and were happily enjoying nicotine inside again with no bad smells or combustible smoke. They have nothing to complain about but simply seeing someone enjoying a nicotine product offended their delicate sensibilities and they wen't on the attack again. Luckily one can stealth vape with nicotine salts almost anywhere undetected but now they are still attacking mail order and trying to get it reclassified as a cigarette. It never stops, they're never happy. Texas views vaping and smoking as the exact same activity; even raised the age limit to purchase and possess to 21 years old.

Most recent figures= less than 14% of Americans. Why make areas of the ship reek/have class A carcinogens floating for that small of a group? Especially in light of Covid and whatever else may emerge down the road? I look at it this way- most people (at least the ones know) are not eating or inhaling stink bugs. But if a small percent of people did that, RC wouldn't be accommodating them with special stink bug areas. I can hear the protests now- But...but.... I like stink bugs when I drink/go to parties/gamble/go on cruises. It's my right to chew on a big ol' bowl of stink bugs. Stink bug inhalers have rights , too....
