Refunds

Curious as to how long it took to get a refund after paying full fare and cruise was cancelled.  We have been waiting about a month now.

Our three Celebrity cancelled 2020 cruises I was told 30 business days but the refunds never showed up until after 45 business days. I believe 48 business days is when the refund showed up on my CC. Today (29 April) is 30 business days from when I requested a refund for our Celebrity cancelled September 2021 cruise and still waiting. Not expecting to see the refund until 45 days or later.

We were on early March cruise last year when SJN port would not let us in and next Cruise was cancelled. 4 MONTHS for refund ( we are Elite plus). Got Oceania WC refund in one month. Patience.

Guess they have to hold on to whatever funds they have; limited cash coming in, so hanging on to cash they have, just guessing.

I was told 30 to 45 days when they cancelled my June cruise.

I don't believe loyalty status gets you refund any quicker!

I've requested refunds on 3 different cancelled cruises over the last two months. I have received the refund within 8 days of the date I requested the refund in lieu of the FCC.

Your status not-withstanding, will not expedite your refund.  You will go in a queue behind anyone who requested prior to you, even if that person is a very first time cruiser, with no status
