If memory serves there is a $25 pp casino credit in lieu of standard free tourney entry fee. That's pretty sweet - and actually a better "return" than the hopes of a tournament win. One of my blackjack tournament "ship-on-a-stick" trophies is the only one I've kept! Tom

How do I claim this, at the cashier's window in the casino or is it automatically on my sign and sail card? TIA!

Two positive tests reported so far. Info posted in the 'other' group and it was posted to Reddit. Definitely hasn't picked up by reporters yet or I'm sure it would have been bigger news.

Their cruise review on redditt casually mentions it and they say they think they picked it up on the airplane on the way to cruiseport or in the airport. The day before end of their cruise they had some mild symptoms but thought they were just tired from the week etc., they got tested when they returned home and were both positive. Surprised also no news on this but it's only in a review and they did not say whether or not they reported it to CCL after they found they tested positive. Then I think about those who were exposed to them not only on the ship but the airport and plane when they flew home. They stated it was their first cruise.

They’re home. Shut down the airline maybe they caught it on the plane. It is kind of surprising that if I fly to Mexico I’m required to test negative within 72 hours of my return but if I cruise to Mexico I don’t have to. Rare KmomChicago Posted July 16, 2021 #510 Share Posted July 16, 2021 A little surprising, to say the least, that they both contracted the infection if they were both fully vaccinated and that they both apparently felt the same mild symptoms at the same time, suggesting the same incubation period - which CDC says is 2-14 days. No vaccine is or ever has been 100% effective in preventing infection in 100% of people but these are high enough that at least one of them, statistically, should have been immune. It is good to hear they did not become extremely ill and it seems there was no widespread outbreak. I would be interested to know if they got one of the mRNA's or the J and J. However as St. Greg says, it's also really not even possible to confirm this was shipborne transmission. They may have been simply worn out when they felt bad the last day as they suspected and their immune systems susceptible in the airport before their return flight, for example. When were they tested? Epidemiology is a complicated science because so many factors come into play when investigating what's happened.

They said they both had the pfizer shots. They were only guessing that they could have contracted at the airport or in the plane prior to the cruise, but no telling.
