Currently on board also. Where are the designated sections for the unvaccinated passengers? I thought there were supposed to be areas where the kids and the unvaccinated folks had to sit (dining room, shows) but everyone is mingled together, all unmasked. Did I miss something?

Royal is the line that separated vaccinated and unvaccinated for meals.  Carnival chose to require exemptions for unvaccinated to keep the percentage under 5%. Royal let all unvaccinated people cruise.

Ahhh. Thanks for clarifying. Glad I'm on Carnival.

And while I'm at it... what's the least expensive individual spin slot machine in the casino - if I was just passing by and wanted to score a "free" drink?  🙂

This question is a total opposite of "max/bonus bets" !

Tom

Usually, Hot Roll. Penny machine with only 3 reels. Min bet is 20 cents.

And that is where you will find me and my wife.

They did but the numbers were similar to Carnival.

Was wondering if you have a moment can you advise, was Carnival booking any excursions for HMC, or just sitting on the beach and the bar?

Were cabana's being rented out?

Been trying to look at booking a cabana for our HMC cruise in a couple weeks, but right now no excursions show up for HMC for us at all.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Yes, I saw that.  Royal had a lot of restrictions and requirements for the unvaccinated, so that helped keep the numbers down for them.  It looks like it worked just fine for them.

Royal required everyone eligible to be vaccinated including their crew. The only difference is they allowed more children under 12 onboard without the vaccines. This only changed the percentages by a few points.

I read that Royal encouraged everyone to be vaccinated, but let everyone cruise.  I do not think Royal required exemptions.  I must have been mistaken.

No, my mistake. Depends on the port of departure: image.thumb.png.f04acbbbf0967628f630bb4d30b2dfff.png

I'm trying to figure out where you got a six pack of Bud, complete with the plastic holder...

I was wondering the same thing, but then I thought maybe it belonged to one of the waiters. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Yes, cabanas were available and booked solid. All of the usual excursions were available.

Hmmmm?   Frustrating.  Our August 19th cruise on the Sunrise has no excursions at all listed for HMC.  Not "sold out" just flat out nothing listed at all.

Thanks for info!  Hope you had a great cruise!

Or Castaway Cay. That place is the best I've visited.

I’ve been to the Disney Island as well.  It’s beautiful.  I love that so far, Carnival/Holland American has kept HMC rustic and mostly natural.

I really have no desire to ever visit Coco Cay again 😩.  I went there in the early 90s before Royal bought the island, and a few times since.   Not visited since the major “upgrades”
